Crafted

A job crafting training program designed to infuse purpose and craft more meaning, fulfillment, alignment, and resilience in your employees and teams.

85% of people worldwide hate their jobs and only 15% of people are actively engaged at work.

AND THAT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR LEADERSHIP, CULTURE, OPERATIONS & EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE.

With over 81, 396 hours of a lifetime spent at work, people want to enjoy their work, make an impact, and feel valued for what they do. While much of that enjoyment, fulfillment, and meaning is influenced by the leadership, culture, operations, and employee experience, much of that meaningfulness is also influenced by the way that the work is designed. Formally, a job design consists of the tasks and relationships that are assigned to a person within an organization, but the design is just a starting point. A job design is often generic — anyone can execute general and generic tasks, but in order for a person to find their work meaningful and engaging, those tasks and relationships must be customized to a person’s individual design. Traditionally, work has been designed as a one-size-fits-all approach but in order to see higher performance, engagement, and motivation, the role and work must be crafted in a way that is meaningful to your employees.

INTRODUCING

Crafted

A JOB CRAFTING TRAINING FOR MANAGERS, TEAMS, & EMPLOYEES TO CRAFT CLARITY, MEANING & RESILIENCE WITHIN THE WORKPLACE.

What is Job Crafting?

Job Crafting is a method that one can take to redesign their job to foster more meaningfulness, fulfillment, job satisfaction, engagement, and resilience to engage and excel at work. This can be done by altering the tasks, relationships, and perspectives that comprise one’s role and how one approaches them within their work. Job crafting also considers the work environment and how one can increase or decrease job demands and resources to stimulate learning, personal growth, and high performance.

To elevate this method’s impact, job crafting can be translated into a larger context through team crafting where team members come together to combine their efforts to alter team-level demands, structures and decide what resources they need to mobilize together to accomplish their tasks and goals.

Organizational Outcomes

Research has long shown us that crafting job characteristics can positively impact employee and organizational performance. The dynamic nature of job crafting can be leveraged to influence organizational outcomes such as increased job motivation and satisfaction, employee engagement, individual and team performance, and decreased absenteeism and feelings of burnout among employees.

What Our Clients Are Saying…

“I went into the Job Crafting Exercise feeling stuck, isolated, angry, overwhelmed, demotivated...and I was looking for a path forward sooner than later. Before the exercise, I thought I might be ready to move on from my current role as it was no longer fulfilling me. I didn't feel the joy in the work that I used to and wasn't confident in my abilities. I was prepared to pivot my career in an entirely new direction. To my surprise, the exercise clarified that I was actually in a role that did align with my purpose and values! And it helped me to identify some adjustments I can work towards to feel more confident and fulfilled by my work.”
